Ad Format Summary

DT Exchange supports the following Ad Formats:

  • HTML Ads: these include all display ads, such as banners, MRECs and interstitial ads. Click here for more information.
  • MRAID 2.0: MRAID (Mobile Rich-Media Ad Interface Definitions) is an API for running rich media ads. Click here for more information.
  • VAST and End Cards: VAST is a Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) for structuring ad tags that serve ads to video players. DT supports fullscreen video ads and encourages all buyers to run end cards to increase performance. Click here for more information.

DT Exchanges supports the following Ad Creative Types:

  • Display Interstitial: Interstitials are full-screen, static or interactive ads. They are typically shown during natural transitions throughout your app; for example, upon opening the app or after completing a game level, or while waiting for a new view to load. Click here for more information.
  • Playables: fullscreen, interactive ads that allow users to preview the content of an app. Playables should include a Call to Action to encourage users to download or further engage with an app. Click here for more information.
  • Rewarded Videos: also known as Opt-in ads, these are fullscreen video ads that offer the user a reward in exchange for watching a video. Click here for more information.
  • Rewarded Playables: fullscreen, interactive ads that give users a mini preview of an app that they can try-out before downloading. The user receives their reward once the x-button is clicked. Click here for more information.
