BIGO Ads

This article is for publishers who want to use the DT FairBid SDK to load and display ads from BIGO Ads via DT FairBid Mediation.

BIGO Ads currently supports the following ad formats:

  • Banner
  • Interstitial
  • Rewarded

To integrate BIGO Ads as an Ad Network in DT FairBid:

  1. Retrieve BIGO Ads parameters.
  2. Add BIGO Ads as a mediated network in DT FairBid.
  3. Add the BIGO Ads SDK to your integration.

Step 1: Retrieve BIGO Ads Parameters

Before You Begin

Locate BIGO Ads Parameters

When adding BIGO Ads as an Ad Network with DT, provide the following parameters from your BIGO Ads account:

BIGO ADS PARAMETER DESCRIPTION
App ID The unique ID of your app in the BIGO Ads system.
Ad Slot ID The unique ID of your ad placement in BIGO Ads.

The following sections provide instructions on how to locate these parameters. Once located, copy and store these parameters in a text file so that you can reference these values when you add the network to your app in the DT Console. Once you finish adding the network in the DT Console, delete the text file.

Obtaining the BIGO Ads App ID

To obtain the BIGO Ads App ID:

  1. Log in to your BIGO Ads Dashboard, and click Application.
  1. Locate your app.
  1. Copy the APP ID for your app to a text file to use later when adding this network to your app.

Retrieving the BIGO Ads Ad Slot ID

  1. On the BIGO Ads Dashboard, click Ad Slot.
  1. Select your app. 
  1. Locate the ad slot you want to add to DT FairBid, and copy the Ad Slot ID to a text file to use later when adding this network to your app.

 

Step 2: Add BIGO Ads as a Mediated Network in DT FairBid

Before you can add BIGO Ads as a mediated network in DT FairBid, you must retrieve the parameters for your BIGO Ads account.

To add BIGO Ads as a mediated network in DT FairBid:

  1. Log in to the DT Console, and click App Management.
  1. Create a mediated network in FairBid using the BIGO Ads parameters.
  1. Create an ad network instance using the BIGO Ads Ad Slot ID for the Instance ID.

Note

To completely integrate BIGO Ads into DT FairBid, ensure that you associate the network instance with your app and create placements.

Step 3: Add the BIGO Ads SDK to your Integration

To add the BIGO Ads SDK, go to the Supported Networks page, and select the configuration for BIGO Ads.
